Job summary
Brightspeed in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Senior Content Designer to lead content strategy across our eCommerce experiences, from discovery to post-order moments. You will shape how customers understand options, drive clarity, and influence product direction with a systems-thinking approach.
You will mentor teammates, collaborate with design, product, analytics and legal, and define content governance within Brightspeed's design system. Experience with AI-enabled content workflows is a plus.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- 7+ years of content design/UX writing experience across digital funnels.
- Experience applying AI in content strategy or operations.
- Ability to shape content strategy across multiple digital funnels.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating journey thinking and measurable improvements.
Responsibilities
- Own content strategy across eCommerce funnels from discovery to post-order.
- Write and refine high-value interface content and guidance.
- Lead content governance, patterns, and handoffs with design systems.
- Mentor designers and cross-functional partners in content design.
- Collaborate with product, analytics, legal, and engineering to align strategy.
