Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a senior content leader to drive major content development initiatives for business development within a leading law firm. You will interview stakeholders, craft editorials, and translate complex concepts into clear materials, expanding reusable resources and governing content quality.

Based in Los Angeles, you will manage cross-functional projects, coordinate with partners and senior staff, and ensure timely delivery while upholding brand standards and data governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 6+ years of relevant BD and marketing experience in a legal or professional services environment.
• 7+ years of cumulative experience.
• Exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and content-development skills.
• Ability to convey complex information in reader-friendly language and promote and persuade in a business-to-business context within firm brand guidelines.
• Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Strong executive presence and ability to engage with partners, senior stakeholders, staff, technical teams, and remote colleagues across regions and cultures.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent initiatives and stakeholder groups while maintaining attention to detail, quality, and customer-service focus

Responsibilities

• Lead major content development initiatives for business development activities across the firm.
• Draft and edit content using stakeholder interviews, attorney input, prior firm materials, and research.
• Translate complex legal and business concepts into audience-appropriate materials.
• Expand the library of reusable resources.
• Manage complex content-development and refresh projects from planning through delivery.
• Coordinate stakeholders, manage timelines, balance priorities, and drive completion without formal authority.
• Collaborate with partners, lawyers, BD professionals, and senior stakeholders to gather input, resolve issues, secure approvals, and communicate status, risks, and opportunities.
• Administer and enhance Foundation content, templates, taxonomies, configurations, and packet-related data.
• Improve Foundation usability, content structures, workflows, reporting, and cross-functional adoption through migrations, audits, governance, and collaboration with MarTech leadership.
• Manage intake and prioritization of content requests.
• Maintain content quality and governance standards and drive process improvements.
• Protect and maintain sensitive, confidential, privileged, financial, and proprietary information
