Job summary

Pearson is seeking an Advanced Specialist, Content Implementation to guide end-to-end item and test development for large-scale K–12 statewide programs. You will lead client-facing content initiatives and coordinate with Psychometrics, Content, Publishing Services, Program Delivery, and Finance.

The Senior TDM provides leadership on assessment design, ensures standard operating excellence for paper and online modalities, and helps deliver successful program outcomes. Some travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years in educational testing and assessment with client-facing leadership.
• Experience developing items/tests for statewide K–12 assessments; both paper and online.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on assessment design and evidence-based practices.
• Translate standards into actionable item/test specifications and secure client approvals.
• Partner with Psychometrics on blueprint setup and test construction.
• Configure item bank metadata and oversee form assembly for paper and online.
• Create and monitor labor and non-salary forecasts for programs.
• Lead scope discussions with content vendors and manage SOWs.
• Maintain content development schedules and change control.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans.
• Create and execute client communications and review meetings.
• Coordinate staffing with Content leadership and mentor vendors.
• Leverage AI tools to support content development and ensure compliance.
