Job summary

Cambium Assessment in the United States is seeking a Senior Content Advisor - Product Development to lead innovative assessment design and content strategies.

You will collaborate with Test Development leadership, present to senior leaders, and drive content review, standard setting prep, and client-facing engagements. The role requires deep content knowledge, strong leadership, and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, Educational Leadership, or related degree with 8+ years developing content for large-scale assessments.
• Deep content knowledge and experience with innovative assessment products are required or highly preferred.
• Experience leading people, programs, or projects in education or assessment environments.
• Familiarity with Principled Assessment Design and learning progressions.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the development of innovative assessment products, including research, design, development, and implementation.
• Contributes to and executes complex plans vetted by Test Development leadership.
• Presents in TAC meetings as a content specialist to senior leadership.
• Manages client and stakeholder expectations; resolves requests in a thorough, timely manner.
• Identifies and escalates complex issues, proposing effective solutions.
• Works collaboratively across divisions as needed.
• Contributes to content test development across projects as a senior reviewer.
• Oversees client meetings as content specialist at standard settings and rubrics validation.
• Drives Content and Test Development training, including standard setting prep.
• Autonomously contributes to proposal work as needed.
