Job summary

Republic Finance is seeking a Sr. Consumer Loan Specialist in Alabama to originate and service consumer loans, build strong customer relationships, and meet sales targets.

You will support the Branch Manager with daily operations and model a professional, positive attitude while ensuring excellent customer experience. This role offers a competitive salary of $36,000 per year plus an uncapped bonus averaging $8,000 annually, with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within our growing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in a goal oriented, incentive based sales role.
• 1+ years of experience in the consumer finance industry preferred.
• Professional demeanor, positive attitude, strong communication and customer relations skills
• Ability to work well independently, as well as a dedicated team member.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and successfully navigate priorities.
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance
• Willingness to comply with our company policy regarding employment credit check, background checks and drug screening
• Ability to meet the eligibility requirements for insurance licensing in order to sell voluntary insurance products.

Responsibilities

• Originate consumer loan business with new and existing customers.
• Evaluate customer needs to recommend best loan and product solutions.
• Complete loan applications, proposals, and offers for new borrowers and follow up with applicants.
• Explain loan process and loan products to potential borrowers.
• Take ownership of customer concerns and work with management on strategies for problem loans.
• Close loans, assemble loan folders, and file documents.
• Meet or exceed loan goals.
• Manage day-to-day servicing of a growing consumer loan portfolio.
• Use analytical skills to resolve customer issues quickly.
• Maintain compliance with policies and regulations.
