Job summary

Republic Finance in Georgia is seeking a Sr. Consumer Loan Specialist to originate consumer loans, complete applications, develop strong customer relationships, and meet sales goals in a branch setting.

You will assist the Branch Manager with daily operations, uphold professional standards, and model reliability, communication, and a positive attitude. The role requires a high school diploma, 2 years in incentive-based sales, and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of goal-oriented, incentive-based sales experience.
• 1+ years in consumer finance preferred.
• Professional demeanor, strong communication and customer relations skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities.
• Proficiency with Windows and MS Office Suite.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to comply with employment credit checks, background checks and drug screening.
• Ability to meet eligibility requirements for insurance licensing.

Responsibilities

• Originates new loan business with new and existing customers.
• Evaluates customer needs to recommend loan and product solutions.
• Completes loan applications, proposals and offers; follows up with applicants.
• Explains loan processes and answers questions regarding loan products and processing.
• Takes ownership of customer concerns and works with management on strategies for problem loans.
• Closes loans, assembles loan folders, and files appropriately.
• Consistently meets or exceeds loan goals.
• Manages day-to-day servicing of an expanding consumer loan portfolio.
