Job summary

Golden 1 Credit Union in Sacramento is seeking a Sr Consumer Lending Projects Coordinator to drive enterprise projects within the Consumer Lending Admin. This exempt, hybrid role reports to the Director of Consumer Lending and focuses on transforming operations and improving member experiences through disciplined project delivery.

You’ll lead multi-project initiatives, define scope with stakeholders, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor teams to reach targets while balancing risk and speed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or equivalent work experience
• MIS or CS related experience strongly preferred
• 8+ years in project analysis, coordination and management, with a minimum of five years directly managing projects or lending teams

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple complex enterprise projects and division initiatives with varied deliverables, team members, and audiences requiring ongoing prioritization and relationship management.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables with stakeholders, including business process owners, vendors, and senior management.
• Identify areas requiring policy changes and develop new ones for future business expansion.
• Develop project plans, schedules, resource plans, and documentation for successful completion.
• Maintain understanding of state and federal credit union compliance laws applicable to the position.
• Communicate project expectations, progress, risks, and issues to leadership clearly and promptly.
• Coach, mentor and motivate project team members and vendors to achieve targets and deadlines.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree Business Administration or equivalent work experience

Management Information Systems or Computer Science or related experience strongly preferred

8+ years Combined experience in project analysis, coordination and management with a minimum of five years of experience directly managing projects or servicing lending teams
