Job summary

H. T. PROF Group is seeking a Career Associate Attorney in the Consumer Financial Services Practice to join a premier AmLaw 100 litigation team.

The role focuses on complex consumer financial services matters, with opportunities to handle hearings, depositions, and regulatory interactions across a nationally integrated practice. Qualified candidates will have 5–10 years of substantive litigation experience, a JD from a top-tier law school, and active bar admission.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing.
• 5–10 years of substantive litigation experience.
• Experience with commercial litigation and the representation of financial institutions.
• Background defending matters under FCRA, FDCPA, and/or TCPA is advantageous.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage cases, lead projects, and supervise junior team members.
• Strong writing ability, analytical skills, and professional judgment.
• Excellent research, communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, nationally integrated practice.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle a broad range of consumer financial services litigation, including commercial disputes and matters involving federal and state consumer protection laws.
• Participate in hearings, depositions, motions practice, and other proceedings across state and federal courts.
• Provide legal advice and regulatory guidance, communicate case strategy and developments, and support clients responding to investigations.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and related litigation documents.
• Work closely with senior attorneys and partners on high-impact matters within a collaborative, nationally coordinated team.
