6 Degrees Search seeks a Career Associate Attorney for its Consumer Financial Services Practice Group, hybrid across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of substantive litigation experience, JD from a top-tier law school, and active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction in good standing.
• 5–10 years of substantive litigation experience.
• Experience with commercial litigation and representation of financial institutions preferred.
• Background defending matters under FCRA, FDCPA, and/or TCPA advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle a broad range of consumer financial services litigation, including commercial disputes and matters involving federal and state consumer protection laws.
• Participate in hearings, depositions, motions practice, and other proceedings across state and federal courts.
• Provide legal advice and regulatory guidance, communicate case strategy and developments, and support clients responding to government and agency investigations.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and related litigation documents.
• Work closely with senior attorneys and partners on high-impact matters within a collaborative, nationally coordinated team.
