Job summary

The AmLaw 100 firm’s Consumer Financial Services Practice Group seeks a talented Career Associate Attorney to join their team and handle complex litigation for leading financial institutions and service providers. This hybrid role offers substantial responsibility in a nationally integrated practice.

Ideal candidates have a JD from a top-tier law school, active bar admission, 5–10 years of substantive litigation experience in commercial matters, and strong writing and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction and in good standing.
• 5–10 years of substantive litigation experience.
• Experience with commercial litigation and representation of financial institutions preferred.
• Background defending matters under FCRA, FDCPA, and/or TCPA advantageous.
• Ability to independently manage cases, lead projects, and supervise juniors.
• Strong writing, analytical, and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle a broad range of consumer financial services litigation, including commercial disputes and matters involving federal and state consumer protection laws.
• Participate in hearings, depositions, motions practice, and other proceedings across state and federal courts.
• Provide legal advice and regulatory guidance, communicate case strategy and developments, and support clients responding to investigations.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and related litigation documents.
• Work closely with senior attorneys and partners on high-impact matters within a nationally coordinated team.
