6 Degrees Search is seeking a Consumer Financial Services Career Associate Attorney for its AmLaw 100 client. With at least three years of litigation experience, the candidate will represent banks, lenders, loan servicers and financial institutions in a broad range of consumer finance disputes. The role may be based in any U.S.

office location. Ideal candidates will have JD from a top-tier law school, active bar admission, and proven ability to manage cases, supervise juniors, and communicate

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in the relevant jurisdiction, in good standing.
• 3+ years of substantive litigation experience.
• Experience with commercial litigation and representation of financial institutions.
• Background defending matters under FCRA, FDCPA, and/or TCPA.
• Ability to independently manage cases, lead projects, and supervise junior staff.
• Strong writing, analytical, and professional judgment.
• Excellent research, communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, nationally integrated practice.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle a broad range of consumer financial services litigation.
• Participate in hearings, depositions, motions, and other proceedings state and federal.
• Provide legal advice and regulatory guidance; communicate case strategy and developments.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery responses, and related litigation documents.
• Work closely with senior attorneys on high-impact matters in a collaborative, nationally coordinated team.
