Job summary

First Financial Bank is seeking a Consumer Banker in the United States (Ohio/Kettering area) to deepen client relationships by booking business directly and by referring to internal partners such as Mortgage, Wealth, Small Business Banking, and Treasury Management.

You will open accounts, assist clients with transactions, and support engagement through calls, conversations, and timely follow-ups while upholding First Financial Bank's service standards.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience in coaching and/or mentoring in a retail environment.
• 3-4 years of personal experience in sales and service with previous success in achieving sales and service goals in a retail environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Open accounts and perform maintenance as needed.
• Run a Teller drawer as deemed necessary by management.
• Support client engagement through active calling, client conversations, and follow up.
• Meet or exceed sales, service and referral goals as set by management; collaborate with district and lines of business to assist clients with financial needs.
• Provide digital assistance and service for clients using the bank's online offering.
• Maintain compliance and risk management standards while serving clients in-branch, drive-thru, by phone and email.
