Our client is a rapidly growing advisory firm working at the intersection of finance, real estate, and the public sector. The firm has built a leading position in a highly specialized market and is experiencing approximately 30% year-over-year growth.
The firm is seeking Senior Managers in both Fort Worth and Austin to lead teams and oversee portfolios of complex client engagements. This is a highly visible role combining financial analysis and modeling, client relationship management, project and engagement leadership, team development, and process improvement.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong finance background along with experience in a consulting, advisory, professional services, or similarly complex client-facing environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a portfolio of complex client engagements, ensuring projects are delivered accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Lead, coach, and develop Project Managers and Analysts, with responsibility for performance, professional development, workload management, and accountability.
- Own client relationships and overall service delivery, serving as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for assigned engagements.
- Lead client meetings, presentations, and discussions involving complex financial and business matters.
- Review financial models, analyses, and other project deliverables and translate complex information into clear recommendations for clients and stakeholders.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, staffing, workloads, deliverables, and competing priorities across multiple engagements.
- Coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders to move complex projects forward and proactively resolve issues.
- Identify project risks and develop solutions before they impact client relationships, timelines, or outcomes.
- Drive process improvements, standardized workflows, and best practices to improve quality, efficiency, and scalability.
- Partner with senior leadership on talent development, operational initiatives, and continued organizational growth.
Qualifications
- Approximately 6–12+ years of progressive experience, ideally including consulting, advisory, professional services, or another finance-focused, client-facing environment.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to understand, review, and communicate complex financial information.
- Demonstrated experience owning complex client engagements or projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, including experience working directly with senior clients and executives.
- Meaningful people leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, career development, and accountability for professional staff.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex engagements, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
- Experience identifying and implementing process improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, Real Estate, or a related field.
Experience in strategic finance, FP&A advisory, transaction advisory, performance improvement, project finance, real estate finance, valuation/modeling, infrastructure, economic development, or related areas is particularly relevant.
