Qualifications

• Master's degree required; doctoral degree preferred.
• Five+ years in educational development in higher education.
• Three+ years classroom teaching, preferably higher education.
• Expert in evidence-based teaching across in-person, hybrid, and online modalities.
• Familiar with pedagogically grounded uses of educational technology.
• Ability to develop and deliver effective training for participants with varying levels of pedagogical experience.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Commitment to lifelong learning and innovation.

Responsibilities

• Design, facilitate, and continuously improve faculty development programs, including institutes, workshops, fellowships, and learning communities that advance teaching excellence.
• Partner with faculty on course design, instructional strategies, assessment approaches, and pedagogical innovation across undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs.
• Provide consultations grounded in evidence-based teaching and learning practices to support faculty, departments, and academic programs.
• Develop and curate teaching resources, guides, toolkits, and learning materials that promote effective and innovative educational practices.
• Apply research and learning science principles to strengthen faculty development programming and teaching effectiveness initiatives.
• Support faculty engagement with artificial intelligence by exploring effective uses of AI in teaching, learning, course design, and student success.
• Collaborate with academic leaders, university partners, and professional communities to advance teaching excellence and innovation across the institution.
• Evaluate program effectiveness through feedback, assessment, and engagement data to continuously improve faculty development initiatives.
