The Role

As a Senior Consultant, Fresh Operations, you will lead the successful rollout and adoption of Logile’s Fresh Operations solutions across retail environments. Your focus will be on fresh food departments (e.g., deli, meat, seafood, bakery, produce and prepared foods), ensuring operational excellence through effective forecasting, production planning, and inventory control.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including Product Management, Development, Deployment, Sales and Best Practices—to deliver high‑impact solutions that improve sales, reduce shrink, and optimize production capacity. You’ll also support training, testing, and client engagement throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Logile’s Delivery team partners with retail clients of a wide variety and guides customers along their entire journey of the Logile Roadmap. As part of Customer Experience, this team supports all client delivery engagements focused on improving operational efficiency, customer and employee experience, and implementing workforce management software.

What You’ll Do

Project Delivery & Implementation

• Lead end‑to‑end implementation of modules for fresh food departments.
• Translate business needs into system workflows, data requirements, and production plans.
• Advise customers on the implementation of the Logile platform.
• Demonstrate business operations and technical leadership throughout each implementation.
• Coordinate with internal teams and clients to ensure timely and successful deployments.
• Conduct post‑implementation reviews and support continuous improvement.

Client Engagement & Training

• Serve as the primary point of contact for client onboarding and training.
• Deliver structured training sessions for client teams and internal deployment staff.
• Build strong relationships with client stakeholders, from store‑level personnel to executives.

System Testing & Quality Assurance

• Develop and execute test cases for IMS modules.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑release testing, log defects, and ensure resolution with development teams.
• Validate system performance against client requirements and user expectations.
• Facilitate project meetings and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to align priorities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
• Effectively communicate complex concepts in clear language to customers at all levels of their organization.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to demonstrate software products (scripted and unscripted).

Retail System and Technology Comprehension

• Strong understanding of operational practices related to food preparation and inventory management.
• Knowledge of technology solutions used to manage food production in retail and batch (commissary) environments.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years of retail experience.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years of SaaS consulting experience.
• Strong experience in retail operations or software deployment operations within the grocery retail sector, especially in fresh departments.
• Strong understanding of production planning, forecasting, inventory and shrink management, and food safety.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Demonstrated leadership ability, including aptitude for managing resources remotely.
• Proven track record in leading implementations or delivery of enterprise systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with retail systems (POS, inventory, category management, ERP, master data management) is a plus.
• Willingness to travel for client support and training as needed.
• Fully Remote – US‑Based.
