Job summary

West Monroe is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Operations Excellence Practice within the Productivity discipline. You’ll solve complex operational problems at client sites, translating challenges into data‑driven insights and actionable recommendations while leading optimization initiatives.

You’ll build models and dashboards (often in Excel) to track performance, mentor juniors, and support business development. Travel approximately 50% to client locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Ability to travel ~50%.
• Experience in management consulting or analytical, project-based roles.
• Experience with AI or analytics applied to business processes.

Responsibilities

• Structure and lead analyses of current-state operations to identify inefficiencies.
• Translate business challenges into data-driven insights and recommendations.
• Redesign business processes to improve throughput and reduce cost.
• Develop quantified value cases (e.g., cost savings, cycle time reduction) to support recommendations.
