Job summary

Averill Hospitality seeks a senior construction leader to join its development team in Whitefish, MT, ensuring accurate estimates, strict adherence to plans, and on-budget, on-schedule delivery for hotel and commercial projects in Whitefish and Missoula. You will analyze drawings deeply and present constructability improvements and alternatives to ownership and the design team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in commercial construction.
• Ability to read and analyze draw sets.
• Track record in VE and constructability savings.
• Experience with hotel development or renovations.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain detailed estimates and budgets.
• Lead preconstruction: VE sessions at each milestone with architect, engineers and GC.
• Prepare bid packages, qualify and select general contractors, level bids, negotiate contracts.
• Manage projects day-to-day: schedules, meetings, RFIs, submittals, change orders, quality.
• Review contractors pay applications, track lien waivers, prepare draw packages.
• Coordinate brand standards and FF&E/OS&E with design and procurement partners.
• Plan phased renovations in operating hotels to minimize guest disruption.
