James Search Group is seeking a Senior Inland Marine Underwriter to join a leading P&C carrier. Based in Houston, Los Angeles, or New York City with a hybrid work model, you will underwrite complex inland marine risks across multiple classes including construction and equipment.

You will build broker relationships, manage a profitable portfolio, and collaborate with claims, loss control, and actuarial teams to align underwriting with market trends.

Qualifications

• 5+ years underwriting experience in inland marine or related lines.
• Strong knowledge of inland marine coverages and pricing.
• Experience with broker channels and national accounts.
• Bachelor's degree in risk/insurance or related field preferred.

Responsabilités

• Underwrite and risk-select inland marine exposures for national accounts.
• Manage a profitable and disciplined inland marine portfolio.
• Develop and maintain broker relationships to increase submissions and win rates.
