Job summary

Chubb in the Surety division is seeking a Home Office Surety Underwriting Manager for the National Engineering & Construction Group. Based in Whitehouse Station, NJ or Philadelphia, PA, you will underwrite and manage a portfolio of large, complex construction surety accounts and coordinate with field offices, co-surety partners, producers and customers.

You will lead underwriting activities, mentor staff, and drive revenue growth while ensuring compliance with credit terms and risk controls,

Qualifications

• Experience managing large construction surety portfolios.
• Strong knowledge of credit terms and risk management.
• Ability to mentor and lead underwriting teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist and support the Surety Director in achieving strategic goals and financial targets.
• Underwrite and manage the book of business with independent decision-making within authority.
• Coordinate with field offices, co-surety partners, producers and customers to ensure smooth underwriting.
• Travel as needed to manage account relationships and coach underwriters.
