Job summary

Bristol Bay Construction Holdings LLC seeks a Superintendent/SSHO to lead on-site safety and subcontractor coordination for projects in Cape May, NJ. You will supervise subcontractors, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to NAVFAC/USACE requirements and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5 years minimum experience with US Federal Government contracts (NAVFAC/USACOE).
• 10+ years vertical construction experience with $1M+ projects preferred.
• Proficient with USACE EM-385-1 Construction and Occupational Safety and Health Standards.
• 30-hour OSHA construction safety certification or equivalent and CPR/First Aid.
• Strong reading, writing and spoken English; comfortable in group settings.
• Knowledge of construction prints, plans, procedures, scheduling and testing.
• Certification in Construction Quality Management for Contractors from USACE.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily on-site supervision of subcontractors.
• Monitor production, schedule, and contractor performance.
• Manage subcontractor daily production reports.
• Coordinate activities with Project Manager and client/occupants.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and project requirements.
• Lead safety audits and enforce OSHA/regulatory standards on site.
• Document injuries or near-misses and address safety issues promptly.
• Maintain equipment knowledge and on-site customer interface.
