Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an Assistant Superintendent for the Columbus Main division, supporting a project located in Columbus, OH 43215 USA. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus a minimum two years' related experience.
• Proven written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work and project schedule.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control and staffing levels.
• Promoting coordinated project operations among assigned trades and resolving issues.
• Managing the site safety program and subcontractor compliance with Turner standards.
• Supervising Field Engineers and interns, including performance appraisals.
• Creating schedules, sequencing work, and implementing recovery strategies.
• Communicating with owners and architects/engineers on field issues.
• Managing billing related to work-in-place, estimates, payrolls, invoices and payments.
