Job summary

Pulice is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead heavy civil construction projects in Scottsdale, AZ. You will oversee scheduling, coordination, and supervision of production and workforce to ensure tasks are executed efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities include planning work methods, coordinating with crews and vendors, forecasting schedules, and enforcing safety programs while maintaining contract compliance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of heavy civil construction experience
• 7+ years construction management experience
• Bachelor's degree a plus
• STS certification preferred
• Valid Driver’s License
• Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills
• Proven ability to manage difficult schedules and project demands
• Advanced knowledge of construction site equipment operation
• Advanced knowledge of construction site safety protocols
• Knowledge of local union or prevailing wage rules

Responsibilities

• Plan work methods, materials, equipment needs and work schedule for assigned project work.
• Reviews daily work schedule with direct reports and updates monthly schedule.
• Coordinate with internal equipment team and external vendors to ensure project work is equipped within budget and schedule.
• Forecast the work schedule to identify issues and provide scheduling recommendations.
• Provide technical input to identify and resolve project risks including safety and schedule activities.
• Support strict adherence to safety and process controls on site.
• Supervise sub-contractor production and workforce and adjust plans as needed.
