Job summary

PCL Construction is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead field operations from our Orlando area project sites. The role emphasizes safety culture, schedule delivery, and effective coordination with clients, trades, and internal teams.

You will mentor project teams, influence construction methodologies, and drive projects through successful completion while maintaining budgets and schedules across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Journeyman certificate or postsecondary diploma / engineering degree in a related discipline.
• 15 years of progressive experience in field supervision preferred.
• Deep knowledge of construction industry, methods, and practices.
• Ability to interpret contract language and mitigate risks.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and maintains PCL safety program and safety culture.
• Collaborates with project manager and team to identify and resolve issues and schedule challenges.
• Oversees subcontractor coordination, performance, and safety requirements.
• Liaises with client, other site contractors, and office representatives.
• Mentors the project team and field staff on the site or multiple sites.
• Develops and implements Project Execution Plan (PEP).
• Ensures compliance with safety, quality, and cost controls.
