Job summary

Brought to you by Lakeland Construction, a construction partner delivering turnkey site management in Ohio. The Construction Project Superintendent leads on-site activities, ensures quality, and drives progress with subcontractors and vendors.

Responsibilities include coordinating schedules, safety compliance, and documentation while maintaining strong client relations and adherence to plans and budgets.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects.
• Knowledge of Local and National building codes.
• Commitment to safety and quality.
• Be proactive, self-directed, highly motivated, and able to multi-task.
• Proficiency with computer applications including Office and Project; PROCORE experience.
• OSHA 10-hour certification is recommended.
• Construction drawings literate, with knowledge of all phases of construction.
• Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises all project construction activities and ensures quality and schedules.
• Schedules and expedites labor crews, equipment, materials, and subs.
• Return as-built drawings to Project Manager.
• Provide input and implement short-term construction scheduling.
• Attend conferences with subcontractors, Architect, Owner, and Project Manager.
• Inspect subcontractors’ work and coordinate with them.
• Maintain positive customer relationships during construction.
• Hold vendors/contractors accountable for timely, complete work and site safety.
