Job summary

Goldbelt, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent to provide on-site coordination for all phases of construction projects, overseeing subcontractors, material, and equipment while ensuring adherence to specifications and staying on schedule and within budget.

This role requires enforcing safety practices, maintaining daily logs, coordinating inspections with local jurisdictions, and communicating progress to the project team to drive successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Must interpret critical path schedule and construction drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Understanding Safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to critical path for timely completion.
• Perform quality control duties for work performed.
• Communicate with project team regarding RFIs and Submittals.
• Ensure subcontractors comply with contracted scope of work.
• Identify areas outside subcontracted scope.
• Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.
• Identify safety, health, and environmental non-compliance by subcontractors.
• Identify conflicts in construction progress and communicate resolutions.
• Maintain daily job site activity log and security of site.
• Preside over weekly subcontractor meetings to coordinate work.
• Issue notices of non-compliance for quality or schedule issues.
• Ensure job site remains clean and organized.
• Assist in budgeting, bidding, and subcontracts awards.
• Assist in obtaining permits or revisions.
• Gather submittals and maintain approvals at site.
• Preside pre-construction meetings with subcontractors.
• Open the site at day start and secure at end.
• Assist in hiring sub-tier employees.
