Job summary

Goldbelt, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support the Superintendent and Project Manager in delivering projects on time and on budget. You will oversee safety, quality, and scheduling while coordinating with architects, engineers, and subcontractors.

The role requires collaboration with the project team, effective on-site leadership, and travel to job sites as needed. A strong safety mindset and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of construction experience.
• Fluent English communication.
• Willingness to travel to job sites.
• OSHA 10 certification.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist Superintendent with managing job site safety, quality, and schedule for assigned projects from pre-construction to closeout.
• Ensure GbOSS’ standards of quality and safety are adhered to by assertively championing GbOSS’ safety culture to project team and subcontractors.
• Work collaboratively with Project Manager, project team members, and field.
• Represent GbOSS in a professional manner. Preside at a pre-construction meeting with subcontractors.
• Opening the job site at the beginning of the day and securing the job site at the end of the day.
• Assist in hiring sub-tier employees.
• Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships and communication with client, Construction Manager, project team, consultants/architect/engineers, subcontractors, adjacent community, trade unions, governmental agencies.
• Assist with creating and enforcing a site-specific emergency action plan for assigned projects in collaboration with the Project Manager.
