Job summary

HITT Contracting in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Commercial Construction Senior Superintendent to lead on-site activities, uphold safety standards, and deliver projects on schedule.

You will coordinate with the project manager, supervise subcontractors, ensure quality, and maintain daily site logs, punch lists, and closeout processes.

The role requires 8–10 years of experience in commercial construction, a four-year degree preferred, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business preferred.
• In lieu of a degree, additional work experience acceptable.
• 8–10 years in commercial construction including tenant renovations and fast-paced projects.
• Mastery of building processes and best practices.
• Ability to organize resources (people, tools, time) to meet deadlines.
• Project lead experience preferred.
• Experience as superintendent or project lead preferred.
• Proficiency with project software (MS Office, ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam).
• Ability to walk/stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong written and verbal communication; professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site safety and maintain a safe jobsite.
• Maintain daily logs and manage punch list through owner/architect acceptance.
• Coordinate schedule with project manager and ensure installation methods.
• Maintain relationships with subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Oversee site operations and allocate resources efficiently.
• Collaborate with project team throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure quality standards across all work on site.
