Job summary

Bechtel is leading a project team in Brownsville, Texas for the Rio Grande LNG venture, directing craft professionals and supervising schedules, safety, and quality on site.

You will work with Field Engineers, Foremen, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with design documents and project plans, while maintaining budgets and timelines. Bachelor’s degree and 8–14 years of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of a single or multi-discipline construction or engineering operation relating to field activities.
• Bechtel’s Zero Accident Philosophy and ES&H frameworks.
• LNG construction site experience, especially along the U.S. Gulf Coast.
• Heavy industrial direct hire construction experience.
• Experience in oil, gas, refinery, petrochemical, minerals processing or power generation construction preferred.
• Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheets, and database applications.
• Working knowledge of industry codes and standards.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team and supervise superintendents and/or craft professionals on a project.
• Direct craft activities, schedules, and coordinate subcontract work.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are available and productive.
• Ensure compliance with design documents, procedures, schedules, and budgets.
• Interpret Engineering design documents and coordinate with Field Engineers, Foremen, and Craft Professionals.
