Job summary

Grunley Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead on-site activities for high-profile commercial, institutional, and government projects in the DMV.

You will oversee material, tools, equipment, and labor, manage job-site logistics, scheduling, quality control, safety, and field office operations. The role requires a minimum of ten years' experience as a superintendent, HS diploma/GED, and OSHA 10, CPR, and First Aid certifications.

Qualifications

• Ten years minimum experience as a Superintendent.
• Strong leadership and communication skills required.
• OSHA 10, CPR, and First Aid certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Grunley employees and direct foremen, field engineers, and supers.
• Coordinate subcontractor activities and manage subcontractor foremen.
• Develop baseline project schedule and maintain two-week look-ahead schedules.
• Perform safety inspections and lead weekly toolbox talks; ensure OSHA MSDs are in place.
• Oversee field office operations, including daily reports and time sheets.
• Maintain and post drawings; provide on-the-job training for site staff.
