Grunley Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a Superintendent to lead construction sites for high-profile commercial, institutional, and government projects. You will oversee material, tools, equipment, and labor, manage site logistics, scheduling, quality control, safety, field office operations, and team morale.

Reports to the Director of Field Operations and aligns with the Senior Project Manager. The role requires five years of construction experience, HS Diploma or GED, OSHA 10, CPR and

Qualifications

• Requires HS Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years of construction experience.
• OSHA 10, CPR and First Aid certifications required or obtainable before start date.
• General knowledge of all trades; ability to forecast and execute activities per schedule.
• Excellent communication with co-workers, owners, representatives and tenants.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Grunley employees; coordinate foremen, field engineers and assistants; align with Labor Manager.
• Coordinate all subcontractor activities and direct subcontractor foremen.
• Assist in developing and updating the baseline project schedule; maintain look-ahead schedules.
• Monitor site inspections; conduct weekly safety and quality control checks.
• Manage temporary construction materials: take-offs, ordering and purchasing.
• Oversee equipment needs, rentals and terminations; manage related notifications.
• Maintain safety standards; lead toolbox talks and ensure MSDS compliance.
• Run field office operations: daily/weekly reports, time sheets and PO logs.
• Maintain and post drawings; coordinate training and internal Grunley programs.
