Job summary

Jobot is seeking a highly skilled Superintendent to oversee on-site construction projects across Colorado, including Fort Collins and Denver. You will manage from conception to completion, ensuring safety, quality, and budget adherence while coordinating multiple trades.

The role requires leadership, deep knowledge of building practices, and the ability to drive project profitability with value engineering and disciplined scheduling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience in construction management.
• Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
• Expert knowledge of building products, codes, and quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret building plans and specifications.
• Familiarity with construction management software.
• Leadership and HR management skills.
• Excellent time and project management.
• BSc/BA in engineering, building science, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
• Review and interpret building plans and specifications to ensure project is built according to design.
• Apply value engineering principles to maximize project efficiency and profitability.
• Utilize life cycle costing techniques to estimate the total cost of a project over its useful life.
• Manage on-site construction activities to ensure that work is done safely, on time, and in compliance with plans and quality standards.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
• Meet contractual conditions of performance and ensure permits and licenses are in place.
• Review work progress daily and adjust schedules and plans as needed.
• Ensure quality construction standards and proper techniques.
• Resolve problems and implement corrective actions as necessary.
