Job summary

Loenbro in Afton, TX, is seeking a General Superintendent to oversee large-scale construction projects and lead field teams on-site. You will ensure staffing, budgeting, scheduling, and adherence to contract terms across multiple locations, while maintaining safety and quality objectives.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years as a Superintendent on complex builds, with strong knowledge of codes and contract documents, and experience with large industrial or commercial facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field or equivalent.
• Minimum 5+ years as a Superintendent on ground-up projects valued at $50M+.
• Proven track record delivering complex construction programs.
• Knowledge of building, electrical, life-safety codes and regs.
• Strong scheduling, budgeting, forecasting and resource planning.
• Ability to review drawings, specs, RFIs and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for large-scale construction projects and field teams.
• Manage execution per contract terms, scope, and owner expectations.
• Act as technical authority on drawings, specs, submittals and RFIs.
• Lead pre-construction planning, budgeting, procurement, and scheduling.
• Champion safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, subcontractors to resolve challenges.
• Demonstrate leadership and problem-solving across multiple projects.
