Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a Senior-level Superintendent to lead on-site supervision of subcontractors in the Southern Cal Main division. The role focuses on safety, schedule delivery, quality, and budget adherence with supervision of assistants, field engineers and interns.

The position reports to the Project Superintendent, Project Manager, or Project Executive and requires strong leadership, coordination across trades, and effective communication with owners and architects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least eight years of related experience/training.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 scheduling; baseline schedule development highly preferred.
• Knowledge of building construction, scheduling and cost control procedures, general contract and subcontract documents, MS Office.
• Ability to read, understand & interpret contract documents, drawings, specs & project schedules.
• Demonstrated leadership & interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling, delivery, logistics, quality control and staffing for trades.
• Coordinate among trades to maintain integrated project operations and resolve issues.
• Manage site safety program and ensure subcontractor compliance with Turner standards.
• Supervise and mentor Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers and Interns.
• Create and sequence schedules; develop recovery plans to maintain schedule.
• Communicate with owners/architects on field issues and resolutions.
• Manage billing related to WIP, payrolls, invoices and subcontractor payments.
• Ensure work conforms to contract documents and approved drawings.
