Apscareerportal is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on complex commercial and healthcare projects in the Montgomery market. The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of mechanical systems, MEP coordination, infection-control requirements, and the ability to manage occupied facilities safely and efficiently.

You will coordinate subcontractors, manage schedules, and maintain quality control while enforcing safety standards and facilitating collaboration

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial construction experience in a superintendent or senior field leadership role.
• Experience managing complex commercial construction projects.
• Strong mechanical/MEP coordination experience.
• Healthcare construction experience strongly preferred.
• Experience working in occupied healthcare facilities is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage day-to-day field operations for commercial and healthcare construction projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, inspectors, and project stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, including short-term and look-ahead schedules.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other MEP systems with architectural and structural scopes.
• Review plans, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings to identify field conflicts and constructability issues.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional jobsite.
• Enforce company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
• Mentor and lead assistant superintendents, foremen, and field personnel.
