Job summary

RAM Construction is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on ongoing construction projects in Orange County. You will oversee daily activities, safety, scheduling, quality control, and subcontractor coordination to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The ideal candidate has GC supervision experience, familiarity with occupied spaces and ground-up work, and strong drawing-reading and MS Project scheduling skills.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising construction projects for a General Contractor.
• Background in class-A office space and occupied buildings is a plus.
• Ground-up construction experience is a plus.
• Ability to run multiple jobs concurrently.
• Experience interfacing with building inspectors and code enforcement officers (Orange County).
• Proficiency in reading architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Scheduling subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in the critical path using MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Walk project areas daily to monitor activities and assist in planning.
• Perform quality control on work performed.
• Coordinate with project team on RFIs, submittals, and ASIs.
• Ensure subcontractors meet contracted scope and safety standards.
• Schedule and coordinate inspections with local jurisdictions.
• Lead weekly subcontractor and safety meetings.
• Maintain daily logs and punch lists.
• Keep job site clean and organized.
