Job summary

RAM Construction is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will oversee scope, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and quality control, coordinating with teams to deliver on time and within budget.

The role emphasizes strong communication, mentorship, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects across RAM Construction core markets. A 7:30 am–4:30 pm, Monday–Friday on-site schedule is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred) OR equivalent experience working for a commercial GC.
• 8+ years of experience managing projects in commercial construction.
• Adept knowledge of construction principles, methods, print reading, contracting, and project management.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite, project management software (Procore), scheduling software.
• 100% detailed/hands-on knowledge of project scope.
• Experience running multiple RAM Construction core markets projects.
• Excellent listening and strong communication skills.

• Pre-construction activities including estimating, bidding, value engineering and scheduling.
• Manage project scheduling, updates, and documentation.
• Quality control and quality assurance to meet plans, specs, codes, and approved shop drawings.

• Project documentation, correspondence, records, shop drawings, submittals, procurement schedule, RFIs, etc.
• Open communication with management.
• Train and develop team members for overall company growth.

Job Description

A successful Senior Project Manager at RAM Construction will provide the highest level of service and quality implementing all members of the construction team starting with preconstruction services, throughout project construction, and finishing with successful project close out.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Full project responsibility in all areas of construction and construction management.
• Must be able to perform project pre-construction activities including, estimating, bidding, value engineering and scheduling.
• Manage project scheduling, scheduling updates, schedule management and documentation.
• Responsible for project quality control and quality assurance that construction meets or exceeds the plans, specifications, codes, and approved shop drawings.
• Responsible for change order estimating, tracking and commitments.
• Project documentation, correspondence, records, paperwork, shop drawings, submittals, procurement schedule, RFI’s etc..
• Open communication with management.
• Train and develop team members for overall company growth.
• Other duties as required.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience Managing Projects in commercial construction.
• Has adept knowledge of all principals of construction, methods, techniques, print reading, contracting, and construction management.
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software (Procore), accounting cost management software (Procore), and scheduling software.
• 100% detailed/hands-on knowledge of project scope.
• Experience with running multiple projects, preferably within RAM Construction’s core markets.
• Excellent listening skills and strong communication skills.
• Ability to create and support team morale.
