Job summary

Greystar seeks a Superintendent to manage a 361-unit wrap project in Franklin, TN, with a pipeline of nearby work. You will oversee construction, manpower, finances and safety, ensuring on-time and on-budget completion.

The role requires coordinating with contractors and guiding team performance. Applicants should have extensive ground-up construction experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a proven ability to manage complex schedules and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience on ground-up construction projects.
• Experience managing a team and subcontractors.
• Strong time management, leadership and decision-making skills.
• Highly organized planning and scheduling capabilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication, delegation and negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate execution of development and new construction projects by reviewing blueprints, inspecting work and overseeing contractors to ensure on-time, on-budget completion.
• Monitor and manage project budget through invoices, financial statements, and reporting, adhering to company policies.
• Develop, execute and manage project timetable; adjust for weather or design changes; propose delay solutions.
• Supervise site activities; ensure safety and plan compliance; adjust staffing to stay on schedule and budget.
• Provide regular progress updates to leaders, equity partners and project contacts; respond to information requests promptly.
• Assist in assembling onsite team by selecting members, engaging contractors, and managing performance.
