Job summary

CyberCoders is seeking a Construction Superintendent to oversee ground-up Distribution Center and Warehouse projects in the Tennessee and Georgia region.

You will lead field teams, manage budgets and schedules, ensure safety compliance, coordinate with vendors and clients, and drive project delivery on time and within budget.

This role requires strong leadership, scheduling acumen, and the ability to resolve field issues quickly.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience on three or more ground-up construction projects, from initial construction to delivery.
• Experience managing project teams and subcontractors.
• Strong written and verbal communication, delegation, collaboration, and negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Reviews project specifications, plans, and blueprints; contributes to hard cost estimates and budgets; staffing needs; assigns internal team and subcontractors; oversees day-to-day execution.
• Lead and/or participate in initial and ongoing project planning meetings; define scope, budgets, timelines, and schedules.
• Prepare and distribute bid packages; review bids and proposals from vendors/subcontractors; negotiate and administer contracts.
• Review, approve change orders and plan revisions; keep schedules and budgets updated.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes; prepare documentation for governing agencies.
• Communicate project status to key leaders; identify risks and develop action plans.
• Recruit, develop, and supervise project team members in line with company policies.
• Conduct site inspections; address issues; adjust plans/schedules as needed.
