Job summary

MPI is seeking an experienced Superintendent for projects in the Athens, GA market. The role oversees field operations, coordinates subcontractors, and maintains schedules to ensure safety, quality, and on-time completion.

You will lead multiple trades, drive site logistics, and communicate closely with project stakeholders while upholding budgets and standards. This position offers a competitive package and growth opportunities within the Southeast region.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of superintendent experience with a commercial General Contractor.
• Proven ability to manage projects from groundbreaking through closeout.
• Strong understanding of construction schedules, sequencing, and site logistics.
• Experience coordinating multiple trades and subcontractors.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Working knowledge of construction software and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage all day-to-day field operations on assigned projects.
• Develop and maintain project schedules in coordination with project management teams.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and onsite personnel.
• Conduct site safety meetings and enforce all safety protocols.
• Monitor project quality and ensure work is completed according to plans and specifications.
• Identify and resolve field issues proactively to keep projects on schedule.
• Maintain communication with project stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within established budgets.
