Job summary

MPI is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead major commercial, multifamily, industrial, or institutional projects in the Columbus area. You will own projects from mobilization through completion, coordinating subcontractors, schedules, and safety, while ensuring quality and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of superintendent experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage fast-paced builds with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role.
• Experience managing commercial, multifamily, healthcare, industrial, or large-scale projects.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with scheduling software and CM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day construction site operations from mobilization to project completion.
• Lead and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and drive production to milestones.
• Ensure work complies with drawings, specs, and quality standards.
• Monitor safety procedures and company safety standards, conduct site meetings.
• Coordinate inspections, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Maintain project documentation, daily reports, and field records.
