Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced construction professional to support the Superintendents and Foremen on San Antonio projects. The role focuses on overseeing trade labor hire, transfer and layoff, aligning schedules, budgets, and safety compliance on active construction sites in San Antonio, TX.

You will collaborate with the Deputy Operations Manager and Operations Manager to ensure timely ROJ dates, field issue resolution, and effective resource allocation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of ten years' related experience.
• Proven written and verbal communications abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, SAP, SharePoint, etc.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Operations Manager for all assignment of Superintendent and Foreman positions.
• Assign and coordinate all trade field assignments with the needs of various projects.
• Support Superintendent throughout the duration of the job.
• Review project schedules with Superintendents/Foreman and ensure ROJ dates are provided to the project management team.
• Document project field issues impacting budget, quality or schedule and report to the project management team.
• Respond to subcontractor requests for field issues that affect budget, quality or schedule.
• Provide oversight for development and maintenance of a Resource Allocation Control System (RACS).
• Guide implementation of the Project QA/QC program.
• Identify projects with Self-Perform opportunities and assist in developing Self-Perform proposals.
