Balfour Beatty US is seeking a Superintendent for Hermiston/Umatilla, OR. You will lead field operations, coordinate subcontractors, and own safety implementation on site. The role partners with the project manager to manage budget, timelines, and adherence to company policies.

The position supervises field staff, mentors junior personnel, and participates in preconstruction, scheduling, and closeout activities to ensure project success and regulatory compliance.

Competenze

• Minimum of 10 years of construction field experience.
• At least 5 years in a supervisory role and strong leadership abilities.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills; customer focus and teamwork.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard business tools.

Mansioni

• Oversee all field operations and coordinate subcontractors’ work on site.
• Ensure safety programs (Zero Harm) are implemented and followed.
• Assist project manager in budget development and cost control.
• Lead field personnel supervision and mentorship of assistants.
• Participate in preconstruction planning, scheduling, and buyout strategies.
• Monitor progress, approve bills, and facilitate safety and progress meetings.
• Keep owners and architects informed of project status and changes.
• Support customer relations and opportunities through effective communication.
