Job summary

Balfour Beatty US is seeking a Senior Superintendent to lead field operations, coordinating subcontractors and enforcing the Zero Harm safety program on site. You will share responsibility with the project manager for budgeting and schedule adherence, and mentor junior field staff.

The role requires extensive commercial construction experience, strong supervision skills, and the ability to read plans and specs while using standard MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Fifteen years or more of commercial construction field experience.
• Seven years or more of direct supervisory experience related to subcontractor management.
• Previous or current commercial construction experience in a Superintendent role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractors' work and supervise field construction activities.
• Oversee safety/Zero Harm implementation on site.
• Assist project manager in developing the project budget.
• Participate in preconstruction and ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.
• Mentor assistant superintendents and field personnel.
