Rycon Construction is seeking an experienced Superintendent for our Cleveland office. You will lead on-site activities, manage subcontractors, and communicate progress to project management. Join a team that prioritizes safety, quality, and efficiency.

The role requires five+ years of supervisory experience on commercial projects, with strong knowledge of trades, reading drawings, and scheduling. This is a full-time on-site position with competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of construction supervisory experience on commercial projects.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, contracts and specifications.
• Advanced knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and finish trades.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and enforcement.
• Experience scheduling work, materials, manpower, subcontractors, and equipment.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and communicate project schedule to plan activities and provide scheduling input to PM staff.
• Coordinate daily activities for all subcontractors at any stage of construction.
• Manage project budgets and track costs; submit invoices to Accounting.
• Prepare daily log reports with site conditions, manpower and activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures per OSHA and company requirements.
• Conduct pre-installation safety evaluations and action plans with contractors.
• Ensure machinery/tools are available and in proper working order.
• Schedule and participate in inspections required by regulations; organize final inspections.
• Monitor daily construction procedures to ensure quality.
• Maintain daily communication with project management on status and issues.
• Respond to onsite incidents and emergencies per company procedures.
