Job summary

Callahan Construction Managers in Boston, MA is seeking a Lead Superintendent to oversee the full scope of the construction site, ensuring safety, quality, subcontractor coordination, and on-time delivery of complex projects.

In this role you will manage field operations, document control, scheduling, cost awareness, and stakeholder communication while upholding Callahan's standards of craftsmanship and efficiency across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Must have leadership of safety programs and regulatory compliance.
• Experience coordinating QA/QC processes with project teams.
• Ability to manage subcontractors, schedules and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Enforce safety laws, manage site safety and inspections.
• Lead QA/QC process and documentation across the project.
• Coordinate pre-mobilization and ongoing meetings with subcontractors.
• Manage daily reports, site logistics and materials flow.
• Oversee schedule development, updates and delays to stakeholders.
• Maintain relationships with owner, architect and engineers.
• Develop site regulations, phasing and turnover plans.
• Mentor team and drive training for site staff.
