Job summary

Granite Construction is seeking a seasoned supervisor to manage construction sites and supervise multiple level 1 Superintendents. You will lead safety, quality and schedule adherence while coordinating with engineering and material control.

Applicants should have 8+ years in construction management, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 8+ years of construction management/supervision experience.
• Strong leadership, communication and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide project supervision on a construction site or unit, overseeing several level 1 Superintendents.
• Administer safety program to create a safe work environment meeting Granite’s goals.
• Promote environmental policy compliance and mitigate operational impacts.
• Oversee construction to meet design, budget, and schedule requirements.
• Coordinate on-site activities with scheduling, engineering and material control to meet project objectives.
• Direct field supervisors, superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure productivity and contractual performance.
• Collaborate with on-site teams to resolve problems, ensure quality, safety and scheduling.
• Assist in developing Work Plans, procedures, and standards to achieve project goals.
• Support corporate safety, quality and environmental initiatives.
• Recruit/hire qualified personnel to maintain high-performing teams.
