Job summary

Grand Contracting, LLC is seeking a capable Superintendent to manage day-to-day construction site operations. You will supervise subcontractors, monitor schedules, and ensure plans and specifications are followed.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with travel to various job sites as needed. A bachelor’s degree in a construction-related field is preferred, along with experience and proficiency in industry software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a superintendent.
• Superior oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Flexibility for travel to out-of-town job sites as needed.
• Strong PC skills MS Word and MS Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and understand construction drawings and contract documents.
• Schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in critical path to ensure timely completion.
• Direct and align manpower resources to meet execution goals.
• Maintain daily log of activities on the jobsite.
• Coordinate required inspections with local jurisdictions.
• Take ownership of project information and deliver project status to appropriate parties.
• Maintain customer relationships by staying engaged with the customer throughout the project.
