Job summary

Granite Construction is seeking a seasoned Construction Supervisor to provide project oversight at a major site in the United States. You will supervise multiple level 1 superintendents, drive safety compliance, ensure quality, and align work with design, budget, and schedule.

The role requires 8+ years of construction management experience, excellent communication, and strong planning skills, along with a valid driver's license and a proven ability to lead teams on complex projects.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of construction management and/or craft supervision experience.
• Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods).
• Excellent communication, organizational, supervisory and planning skills required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Supervise safety program and promote a safe work environment.
• Foster environmental policy compliance and mitigate operational impacts.
• Promote quality culture and ensure customer-pleasing products.
• Supervise construction to match design, budget, and schedule.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise on-site functions with scheduling and materials control.
• Direct field supervisors and contractors to maintain productivity and contractual performance.
• Coordinate with on-site teams to resolve issues and meet project objectives.
• Assist management in developing Work Plans, procedures, and standards.
• Support corporate safety, quality, and environmental initiatives.
• Recruit and hire qualified individuals for high-performing teams.
