Job summary

Layton Construction is seeking a Senior Corporate Scheduler to develop and maintain software schedules for all assigned construction projects. You will monitor progress against the baseline, explain variances, and prepare reports on schedule trends for the project team.

You will mentor junior schedulers, develop scheduling standards, interface with clients and internal stakeholders, and ensure schedules support project management plans and cost integration.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Construction Management or equivalent.
• Over eight years’ experience in scheduling and construction processes.
• Cost & resource loading experience is preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of scheduling software and MS Office.
• Ability to independently apply advanced analysis techniques and lead others.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains schedules for all assigned projects using critical path scheduling.
• Reviews project schedule data including activities, dates, budgets, structures.
• Evaluates work packages for feasibility and suggests improvements.
• Interfaces with customers to communicate status and corrective actions.
• Works with project team to ensure schedule information is communicated.
• Supports project management plans and cost/schedule integration.
• Prepares project status reports and maintains audit trails.
