Job summary

The Walsh Group is seeking a Senior Project Scheduler for the Federal Building Division in Cape Canaveral, FL. This role requires strong experience in Primavera P6, baseline/schedule management, and risk assessment to support complex projects.

You will coordinate with project management, superintendents, and subcontractors to deliver detailed schedules, analyze impacts on cost and timeline, and lead scheduling meetings with a focus on accuracy and proactive mitigation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project scheduling experience.
• Experience preparing and maintaining multiple construction schedules.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 (P6) required.
• Knowledge of baseline, progress, recovered schedules and critical path.

Responsibilities

• Develops a baseline schedule coordinating with project management, superintendents and subcontractors.
• Uses scheduling software to implement, maintain and analyze the project schedule.
• Loads resources, costs and sequencing data.
• Coordinates all project controls to assess risk.
• Prepares risk and impact assessments for schedule changes.
• Analyzes changes to schedule and impact on cost/time.
• Documents and reviews all change orders and delays.
• Leads scheduling meetings and prepares periodic reports.
• Forecasts and manages the project budget relative to schedule.
• Performs what-if models and contingency planning.
